Best ever celebrity publicity stunt #7: Gail Porter on Parliament

For some reason that even Freud would be afraid to delve into, children’s TV presenters often find themselves scoring highly on Most Wanked Over Celebrities lists, or the FHM 100 Sexiest Women Poll as it’s otherwise known.

And so even though ‘Fully Booked’ was the BBC’s truly dreadful summer replacement for ‘Live & Kicking’, it did feature the not unattractive visual stimulus of Gail Porter (alongside Chris Jarvis, Tim Vincent and a shit puppet cow) who quickly became many a gentleman’s inspiration, when it came time to milk the lizard (about 11:15 on a Saturday morning).

So in a publicity stunt for the magazine’s 1999 Top of the Tits issue, Gail’s naked and pert body was projected onto the side of the Houses of Parliament. It even made the news, which was apparently how Gail herself found out about it.

If they were to repeat the stunt today, we’d have five smooth, fleshy orbs to admire instead of the original four. Bonus. Possibly.
