American Music Awards 2011: Adele wins, but so do Maroon 5

Congrats to Adele who's just won the 'Adult' prize at the American Music Awards. Wow, we didn't even know she'd done one of those videos, we guess we misinterpreted all those reports about her throat... 

The American Music Awards seems to be a celebration for those who don't have the attention span to sit through the 120 categories of the Grammys, jumping quickly from 'country' to 'Latin' via Adele's weird 'Adult' prize. 

Lots of people who didn't win prizes did attend (Justin Bieber and Katy Perry), while lots of people who did win prizes didn't attend (Rihanna, who was too busy on X Factor), which seems grossly unfair. Everyone who we don't recognise in the gallery, we're just assuming are Casting Crowns.

Bonus point to anyone who could actually recognise a Taylor Swift song!
