NME Awards nominations: five new awards, no new nominees
We had a look through the list of nominations for this year's NME awards and we were most impressed by the fact they've managed to add five new awards. That and the fact that Rekorderlig are sponsoring one of the awards (for those who don't know, Rekorderlig is cider that tastes like rainbows and costs only slightly more than a small mortgage).
In terms of the actual nominees it looks like the same advert-based affair as most of the other awards ceremonies around at the moment. Harry Potter for best film? Fresh Meat for best show? Best Re-issue? Noel Fielding? Kasabian?
