HM fashion disasters of the year 2011: some surprising, some not so much

Worst dressed lists are always funny ones because they generally mean lumping the likes of Katie Price in with the more risk-taking members of the a-list. Still, a bad outfit is a bad outfit, so there's no room for elitism. More to the point, if Emma Watson's still going to pick a bad dress when she's got stylists queuing up with them, she's going to have to make do with sitting alongside Lauren Pope.

So, in the mix of stretched sateen and polyester, we have the normally impeccable Frieda Pinto in a tux/gown combo, Pixie Geldof in her Buffalos, Katie Price dressed as a book cover, Jared Leto in a Snuggie, Geri Halliwell in a bridal dress (it wasn't her wedding), Princess Beatrice at the Royal Wedding wedding in a fallopian tube hat, Jessie J dressed for Strictly, Christina Aguilera in a very misguided basque, Ke$ha just being Ke$ha, Taylor Momsen just being Taylor Momsen, Emma Watson managing to make Valentino look cheap, Cheryl Cole in the outfit so bad it got her sacked, Katy Perry still raiding a child's dressing up box, Madonna in lace and a leotard at 53 and Jaime Winstone with her tits out at a charity ball. 

Well done to Mischa Barton who's managed a whole year without offending anyone with her dressing. Hang on, has anyone seen her recently?
