SAG Awards 2012: all the red carpet pics - dresses and disses

Now you know who the winners were at the Screen Actors Guild, let's look at the red carpet. Literally perhaps since the carpet was slightly more interesting than some of the dresses. 

Here they are, arriving so full of promise - until they spot the guy from The Artist and ladies from The Help and realise they might as well have stayed at home and finally cracked season one of Boardwalk Empire. 

We've got Emma Stone in black, Angelina Jolie in black, Amber Heard in black, Ashlee Simpson in black, Tina Fey in black, men in black... We guess they're mourning the era we call BTA (Before The Artist). Good old Michelle Williams turned up red and Emily Blunt in green. To be honest, Stone would've been fine if she'd arrived in a black bin liner (it's actually Alexander McQueen, FYI). 

And if you were surprised by Simpson's attendance, you may or may not be interested to know that Kelly Osbourne was also there mingling alongside screen legends such a Dick Van Dyke, Linda Grey, Alec Baldwin, Josh Brolin, Ted Danson and Meryl Streep. Osbourne, we suspect it will take more than a SAG union card to get you up there.

At least the Facebook loser who got arrested for having a hash brownie was out of jail in time!
