In the words of Heather Small (the only person not at last night's event), what have you done today to make you feeeeeel proud? Held your fart in on the tube? Got dressed in the dark so as not to wake your sleeping partner? Looked at the above picture of Gail Platt without so much of a snigger? Well done YOU, pat on the back - you're a hero to us even if you're unlikely to win a Pride of Britain award any time soon...

The Pride of Britain awards are given to the unsung heroes of the nation, which is a very nice idea because it's normally pesky celebs hogging the headlines rather than brave school teachers, nurses and lollipop ladies. Except, hang on, what's this - pesky celebs hogging the limelight at the awards? Hmmm, we're sure they were just there to offer moral support and the fact that Cheryl Cole turned up in a Victoria Beckham dress will only be mentioned as a total afterthought. Oh. 

Seriously, though, THIS 11-year-old boy rescued his dad from a raging bull - amazing.

Back to the celebs though, everyone was in the house; the aforementioned Gail, Tulisa, Cheryl Cole, Abbey Clancy, Nicola Roberts, Carol Vordeman, Bear Grylls, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Martin Kemp, Elle MacPherson, Stacey Soloman, Holly Valance, James Cordon, Tess Daly, Amy Childs, Esther Rantzen, Emma Bunton, Mel C, Myleene Klass, the Loose Women, Christine Bleakley, the cast of TOWIE, Coleen Rooney, some of The Saturdays, Jason Donavan, Louise Redknapp, Tom Felton and Harry Judd.

We're so very proud of ourselves for not making fun of any of them (except for Bear Grylls' shoes, obv).
