WE WANT TO PARTY WITH DEBBIE AND SINEAD

amfAR Inspiration Gala attended by Sinead O’Connor, Debbie Harry, Colin Farrell and more

Taking a break out of her busy telling-Gary-Barlow-off schedule, Sinead O’Connor has shaved her head, put on a nice dress and attended the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Hollywood, where she bumped into Debbie Harry and Sean Penn.

The Gala, raising money for amfAR’s tireless work in the field of AIDS research, was also attended by Estelle, wearing a dress previously seen on Cheryl Cole, Selma Blair rocking a bad girl look in a virginal white shift, Colin Farrell in a slightly silly hat and Ryan Kwanten from True Blood dressed as Colonel Sanders. Ubiquitous philanthropist Sean Penn was also there, making up for the lack of Susan Sarandon and/or an Obama. A decent crop of celebs at a very worthwhile charity bash.

Of course, the best thing about this gallery is the O’Connor/Harry awesomeness. For us, anyway, but the Daily Mail has other ideas. Their story on the Gala mentions the charity’s work once, and is entirely concerned with how Sinead and Debbie have committed the heinous crime of SHOCK HORROR getting older and a bit plumper. We could go off on one, about how they never seem to have a go at blokes for getting on a bit, but honestly it would write itself.
