Update: Scarlett Johansson not dating Dan White from Tribes, "never met" him

In news as surprising as Christmas day flatulence, Scarlett Johansson's rep has said the actress is not dating a musician from a Camden indie band, who she was alleged to have recently met at a London club despite the fact she's been either busy filming in Scotland or promoting a movie in New York.

Earlier this week, a source told the Sunday Mirror that Scarlett and Dan White from Tribes have "been seeing each other for a good few weeks" after there was an "instant connection", adding that the actress was "into the band's music".

However, talking to Gossip Cop, Scarlett's rep said the rumoured couple has "never met", which could mean that they have a text message relationship since we know the actress enjoys those, although the rep also added that it's "a totally made up story".

So there you go - guy from Camden indie band not dating a-list actress. Ho hum, Tribes have got a tour and album out next month, so at least we know about that now.
