Rebecca Ferguson thinks Caroline Flack and Harry Styles' relationship is weird
What is it about One Direction that makes them so irresistible to women? Is it their louche style? Their rapidly inflating bank accounts? The fact they spend their spare time strolling around Harry's velour covered mansion, telling all their female visitors about that one time when Deano lost his favourite pipe and all the bunnies had to go looking for it at three in the morning?
Having absolutely nothing to do with anyone under the age of 25 (for various legal reasons) we couldn't possibly say. What we will do though, is tell you that if you're one of those older women looking at poor Harry Styles the same way Vanessa Feltz looks at a mixed kebab, then you should be ashamed. He's 12 for christ's sake! He's only just getting used to what the accidental brush of a PE teacher's hand against his trouser leg feels like, never mind the crinkled paw of an oversexed MILF trying to work its magic*.
Luckily, 25 year old and so still officially a yound person herself Rebecca Ferguson agrees. She thinks that while her relationship with 19 year old Zayn Malik was absolutely above board, shipshape and legitimate, 32 year old Caroline Flack's dalliance with 17 year old Harrison Styles was forbidden territory. And shameful. Dirty, shameful and forbidden. (Via Fabulous)
"I think there's something not right about Caroline and Harry's relationship,"
"For me and Zayn it was different, because he was 18 so at least he could drive over to pick me up, we could go for a drink in a bar together and he was old enough to make his own decisions. But Harry is too young for that and there is so much more of an age gap between them."
"One day I just woke up and thought, 'This isn't working for me'. But when I meet a man I want to feel like he is with me 100 percent. There shouldn't be any messing around... I'm not saying Zayn cheated."
Come on ladies, what's wrong with just getting them the new Batman game, or a cool t-shirt? Why does it always have to be sexual? Just let kids be kids. You don't always have to make a man out of them.
*We are of course generalising, and in no way referring to Carloine Flack. We can categorically state that she doesn't have a crinkled paw.
