Cheryl Cole gets hammered, complains about her hangover on Twitter

Despite amassing a good half a million followers many months ago, we had to wait until very recently for Cheryl Cole's first official Tweet. But now she's started she just can't seem to stop, which is good news for the rest of us, because some of her comments are absolute gold. Take this weekend for example, where she's been been getting drunk off her tits and telling us all about it via The Twitters...

By the sounds of it, she had a very good time on Thursday night. The Sun have the pictures to prove it, but who needs to pay thousands of pounds for photos of Cheryl Cole necking bottles of champagne when you've got her incredibly remorseful Tweets for evidence?

The image of Cheryl Cole waking up in last night's dress and heels with a half-eaten box of chips and cheese beside her head is quite something. Althought she doesn't seem to think so, going by her next Tweet...

Little bit of comedy there from our Chez. What's she like, eh? And it was only after that that we finally discovered what she was complaining about...

She then went on to tell her pal willy.i.am that she had "too many bubbles" and our pal Nicola Roberts: "I'll be back! *arnie voice*". You forget that Cheryl Cole has a personality, don't you? That's what happens when you have a stupidly attractive face, everyone forgets you're actually a human being and not a waxwork model.

And if you weren't impressed by her hungover Tweets, then maybe her birthday comment to Simon Cowell will win you over:

"Simon Cowell is '52' today. Ooops... I don't think he wanted that mentioned... My bad!! ;)
